Alan Knowles and Austen Rose have become members of the Southern
 Section Competition Committee
.

The main purpose of the competition committee is to ensure the efficient running of the Southern Section
competitions. We know that a number of club members already help out  with the running of section competitions. We would like to encourage more members to help out when and where they can. There are a number of  jobs that need doing during an event, from marking out pistes to refereeing. Even if you can only help for 1/2 a day it would greatly  benefit the running of an event.

 The next events are:

 F - Foil, E- Epee, S -Sabre.

If you are willing to help out in any capacity then please send an e-mail to Austen at arose8518@aol.com  with your name and phone details.
If you can help out at the above events then please also mention that.

 Jobs:
 Piste assistants
 Referees - please indicate weapons
 Dogsbody, learning, etc
 Armourer
 Running of refreshment stands.
